AG raises almost £35,000 for The Prince's Trust
Ambassadeurs Group, golfers, and social media star Caspar Lee help a future generation of stars like Jessica Wallis realise their dreams.
We are driven by an ambition to give back to society. We nurture small businesses and help to raise vital funds for charities and good causes. We support our WorkFamily through charitable, sustainable and educational initiatives. Our ambition ranges from big gestures – such as our industry-leading commitment to voluntarily donate 1% of our annual Gross Gaming Yield (GGY) to Research, Education and Treatment (RET), to smaller ones such as our corporate volunteering support at the London centre of a gardening for health charity. Everything we do is united by our core purpose: to raise standards and give back. We are building better futures for our people, planet, members and communities.
We concentrate our corporate philanthropy and community engagement across four areas: Mental Health & Wellbeing, Education, Safer Gambling, and Our Community. By organising our efforts in this way, we are able to make a meaningful difference, to grow and share our learnings, and to deliver key campaigns throughout the year whilst also supporting charities and causes on an ad-hoc basis.
Wherever we can, we encourage standards that benefit humans and the planet. This approach underpins the work we do with partners, which include charities and businesses that share like-minded goals. Campaigns so far have supported The Prince’s Trust RISE and Global’s Make Some Noise charity.
Stuart Robinson, MBE, was the goal-scoring sportsman who was part of the rugby-winning side at the 2021 Tokyo Paralympics. He is also the former RAF Regiment Gunner who lost both legs whilst serving in Afghanistan. His achievements are inspiring the next generation of military veterans into sport. With our support and the donation of specially adapted wheelchairs, the OppO Foundation gave three more military veterans the chance to train better and change their daily lives.
It doesn’t matter whether we are embracing diversity in our own workplace on International Women’s Day or backing external causes such as Mental Health Awareness Week, the people who work for our Group are key to what we do. We help them upskill and to learn new skills to benefit them in work and in life. We are proud of our WorkFamily and proud of the work they do around giving back.
