Driving change in an established industry is tough. But Les Ambassadeurs’ CEO Kevin McGowen has taken the iconic ultra-high-end London casino into the 21st Century with a series of initiatives designed to give back to society and promote safer gambling.

It is a strategy that is delighting members and staff alike. Members are being encouraged to donate a meaningful amount of their winnings to good causes through the outdoor-garden gaming area, the Good Causes Jackpot Zone. Elsewhere, there is support for levelling up, including career growth and upskilling initiatives for employees.

More widely, the casino has pledged to contribute one per cent of its Gross Gaming Yield (GGY) to GambleAware in 2022. It is an industry-leading move that represents a tenfold increase on previous contributions. It also reflects Les Ambassadeurs’ commitment to supporting the research, education and treatment commissioned by GambleAware.

The Ambassadeurs Group aims to raise standards within the gambling and gaming industry to ensure clients are gambling safely and not at risk of harm from gambling. For more on how Kevin McGowen is driving change at the casino, read the latest issue of Casino Life.
